Harley Avenue Kindergartners Learn Health and Safety at Teddy Bear Clinic

Kindergarten students at Harley Avenue Primary School recently took part in a hands-on Teddy Bear Clinic led by Stacey Pinto, a trauma injury prevention specialist from Catholic Health’s Good Samaritan University Hospital.

The engaging program introduced young learners to basic medical safety and injury prevention in a fun and age-appropriate way. Following a brief lesson, students stepped into the role of caregivers, donning surgical caps and gloves as they treated their own “injured” stuffed animals.
